Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently associated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's programs "Squawk on the street" (Closing Bell) as well as 'Squawk on the Street' (CNBC). Although she's from Ohio but she didn't have a keen interest in markets and currencies during the time she was in college. When she was a student at New York University, she was a part-time intern at an online start-up called ForexTV.com. It is there that she had her first encounter working with business news. She went on to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The position was for the duration of four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She then returned to America and began her career in New York at Bloomberg. She was eventually a TV anchor. CNBC brought her on in December 2013 as reporter. She has served as anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange as well as 'Power Lunch', and then landed the job on 'Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street since 2014. Her main area of focus since the time she joined CNBC is global news for consumers.
